We use the Traditional Pilates Method as a base to our unique exercise system. We offer a complete body conditioning method of exercise that develops strength, flexibility & control supporting the body’s functionality and prevention of injury. Our system holds deep knowledge about the body and has achieved documented miraculous results, often avoiding the need for surgery.

Our Traditional Pilates Lineage has been preserved by Romana Kryzanowska who was trusted by Joseph Pilates to share his lifetime work to the rest of the world, and she did. Romana has kept the integrity of Joseph Pilates’ work alive until today.

Andrea Leyva - Pilates Teacher

Andrea guides her clients in building movement strategies and tools to help achieve their athletic goals. Systematically she develops specific movement patterns educating the body through the various environments of Pilates apparatus. Understanding how to address the limitations of the body, Andrea helps her clients create movement skills which can be practically applied to everyday lives, promoting independence and transformation outside the studio.

Education: Andrea worked and trained with 2nd Generation Master Teacher Cynthia Lochard. Andrea’s teaching has been also influenced by training with some of the most respected Pilates Teachers in the World such as Anthony Rabara, Cynthia Shipley and Jerome Weinberg.

Further more, after having her first baby, Andrea found her self in a whole new world of rehabilitation, and further her studies in human body mechanics together with her husband Damian Wedge, on which she started to develop a simplified system of exercises, far more effective from systems she was tough in earlier years.

Damian Wedge - Neuro Muscular Practitioner/ Lifestyle - Nutritional Coach / Movement & Mobility Specialist

Damian specialises in a sophisticated form of manual therapy that combines motor control theory and manual muscle testing. This system addresses the cause of pain and can determine dysfunctional movement patterns stored in the brain.

Having a strong interest in human body mechanics, Damian completed a BA of Exercise Science in 2009 and has been teaching Pilates since 2011. Damian is also a CHEK trained Holistic Lifestyle Coach teaching natural health and wellbeing principles, and a keen surfer who is always looking for ways to improve functional performance.
